We chose the Athens Gate Hotel for its central location. There is no better spot to begin exploring this ancient city. Located in the historic district of Athens and situated directly opposite the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the gate which was constructed by the Athenians to welcome the Roman emperor Hadrian, only 1/3 mile from the Acropolis and just seconds from the New Acropolis Museum.

The Constitution (Syntagma) Square and the commercial center of Athens are 1/3 mile away as well. The hotel was fully renovated in 2007 and today is a modern, tasteful 4-star hotel with a rooftop garden bar with spectacular views of Athens, an a la carte restaurant, and a cozy area with fireplace in the lobby.

All rooms are equipped with a 27" flat screen TV, mini bar, in-room safe, hair dryer, direct dial phones, air conditioning, high speed G6 internet connectivity, and private bathrooms.

The s/c Panorama is a 3 masted sailing yacht which accommodates 49 passengers in 25 cabins. Launched in 1993 and completely renovated in 2009, she is state of the art, offering the highest standards of accommodation, comfort and safety.

She is small and stealthy, so she can dock or anchor where the mega-liners can't. Swim to shore just about every where. Shipboard life is relaxed and casual. Enjoy swimming and snorkeling from Panorama's stern swimming platform or relax on the sun deck and take in the scenery.

Evenings are fun. Relax at either of the two lounges, the library, or have a drink outside under the stars. Staterooms are small but elegant. Amenities include air-conditioning, TV, telephone, hair dryer, mini-fridge, central music, and an in-room safe. Every stateroom has a private, fully-equipped bathroom finished, with teak and marble.
